THE HOUSE OF HOLLIN

HOLLIN is a contemporary, independent tea house founded in France.

Tea is its point of departure: a material, a daily gesture, a time one chooses to give oneself.

We select single-origin teas and create blends from carefully chosen leaves, flowers, fruits, spices and plants.

Without added flavourings, so that each material remains legible and keeps its place in the composition.

Our creations are blended and packed in France, with particular attention to balance, precision and the quality of raw materials.

Around tea, HOLLIN develops a world of objects, illustrations and editions.

The house is built at the meeting point of East Asian cultures and a contemporary French sensibility, not to oppose them, but to let gestures, forms and uses circulate between them.

We do not seek to freeze tea in ceremony.

We want to give it back a simple, attentive place in daily life: preparing, infusing, serving, taking time.

A cup can be the beginning of a ritual. An object, an image or a gesture can extend it.

HOLLIN thus sees itself as a contemporary house of everyday rituals.

Before HOLLIN, two worlds shaped its founder: raw materials and the agricultural world in Hunan, and classical music and the operatic stage in France.

Their meeting has become one of the guiding threads of the house.
